A late goodbye to Peaches

A few years back, I posted some gorgeous wedding photos of Peaches Geldof. She looked so happy and beautiful. I was so sad to hear of her death of a heroin overdose a few months ago.

'A used syringe was in a sweet box next to her body and a pair of knotted tights had apparently been used as a tourniquet'

'Conditions of doing as she would with her 'pleasuring' ting a ting a written oath not die':

I solemnly swear I am not going to die

Rest peacefully Peaches

Man in the Moon

Moonfaced wonders available at Luxdivine on esty, a wonderfully bohemian jewellery store that also make some beautiful pieces with rough gemstones.

I love, love, love these.

Madison Montgomery Style Bible

So American Horror Story: Coven was disappointing. It opened with an engaging premise, however it quickly fizzled out when the plots developed into superficial soap opera-horror for shock value. The show just never really fleshed out any solid story lines, just shallow blood and gore, with nothing actually chilling enough to cut through campy lines such as 'I'm the next supreme!' for an entire season.

I guess I should've expected this from Ryan Murphy. (Don't even get me started on the weak writing of Nip/Tuck.)

What made the show worth watching was excellent casting, and a slick and beautiful style from both the set design team and wardrobe. Despite my issues with some of the cliches of her character, some of Madison Montgomery's scenes were on point, and her wardrobe was worthy of worship.

Madison's luxe style heavily depends on a variation of textures. Modern faux fur, leather, sequins, brocade and lace. If you combine strong statement clothing a outfit can easily look gaudy or over-the-top, so the subtlety of layering these textures was genius.

Her wardrobe featured dark, moody colours: blood red, maroons, plum, gold and lots of black. Dress like you've reluctantly attended a funeral, but you're still trying to seduce the widowed millonaire.

Her wardrobe stables: A-line skirts, gold chandelier earrings, knee high socks, faux fur jackets and headbands.
However when it's time to dress up, bandaged figure hugging body-con dresses are a must.

If you're interested in buying any of her clothes, shopyourtv.com compiled a catalogue here.

Oh this outfit was to die for. Or perfect to die in.
